The main tasks of the working group were:

  1. reorganisation of the website and mailing lists;
  2. promotion of UNIVERSEUM among European universities
  3. production of a e-newsletter;
  4. identify and establish contacts with relevant existing structures involved with university heritage;
  5. proposal of long-term UNIVERSEUM structure (light and without membership fees) and statute
  6. promotion of the Recommendation of the Council of Europe
